No poo- no shampoo method. The process of not using traditional shampoo to wash hair.

Detangling- the process of removing tangles, knots and mats from hair.

finger comb- using fingers to comb through hair to detangle or apply product.

PJ-product junkie

Pineapple method- the process of gathering hair on top of head into a scrunchie to preserve curls and ensure second day hair.

Second day hair-maintenance of style for a second day. Commonly used when referring to twist outs or wash and go’s.

DC- deep conditioning . Deep conditioning

Wash and Go- a style that is achieved by washing, applying product, and letting it air dry to produce a curly or kinky curly style outcome.

BC- big chop. cutting off relaxed ends
