A lot of women would like to go natural but are afraid to do the big chop for fear of how they might look,
or simply not wanting short hair.
No fear, you can definitely go natural without the big chop!
Those who choose to go natural without the big chop or cutting off all their hair tend to have a long transition.
Women who choose this path can transition for 1-3 years in order to get to a length they are comfortable with before cutting off the relaxed ends.
It is possible to go natural without the big chop you just have to have patience and the right transitioning hair styles to get you thorough the process.
How to go natural without the big chop:
There are two ways you can go natural without big chop.
- You can gradually grow out your hair and every 4-6 weeks cut off an inch of relaxed hair until it is all gone.
- Grow out your hair until it reaches your current length or longer and then cut off the relaxed ends.
Both of these processes allows time for your hair to grow in between cutting.
Please note there is NO product that will strip the relaxer, texturizer, heat damage, etc from your hair.
It is a process and you either Big Chop or transition for a longer period of time using the above mentioned ways.
Although transitioning can be frustrating at times this is the time to begin to learn about your hair.
Pay close attention and love it throughout this process with great products , deep conditioning, and hair styles.
