MTV’s True Life is casting Black Women who are Going Natural
MTV is casting for Black women ages 15 -28 to appear on the hit Show True Life and would like to document your transition to natural hair. Black women going natural is a craze in the media world right now. Going natural went from underground to now being seen on Fox, CNN, and the New York Times to name a few.
If you are interested in being casted for True Life send an email to casting@lintonmedia.com and tell them your hair story.
I would be interested to see if the show touches the topics of women who are going natural due to hair loss, breakage, or even chemotherapy as well as those who are doing it for self acceptance. I find that women who have no choice in stopping the use of chemicals are often unheard.
