Kinky Curly Curling Custard Review Remix
In August 2010 I did a review on Kinky Curly Curling Custard in which I did not like. Kinky Curly sponsored our Pool Party at Fall 2011 ‘Fro Fashion Week and I was able to learn from the actual representatives how to properly apply the product.
I was always a Kinky Curly skeptic but I am now a believer! I didn’t know I could have coily and wavy wash and go I always admired on others.
At the pool party Miss E from Youtube demonstrated on an attendee Ms. Coral how to apply the Knot Today and Curling Custard.
Coral washed and conditioned her hair with Kinky Curly products after swimming in the pool and Miss E applied the Knot Today and Curling Custard throughout her soaking wet hair.

What I learned:
- The key to using Kinky Curly is having the hair soaking wet!
- Be consistent with the amount of product you use
- You reactivate the product each day with spritzing with water. This also moisturizes it so it won’t feel dry.
Kinky Curly gave out full size products at the pool party including Knot Today and the Gloss Pomade. After leaving equipped with product and knowledge I decided to give it a try AGAIN!
I used a hair diffuser in the morning to help dry the curls.
95% dry after diffusing.
This was my first time back on the Kinky Curly wagon and I will keep practicing to perfect the technique.
