Flaxseed Gel for Curl Definition

When boiled, flaxseeds give off a frothy broth that when cooled can give your curls and coils GREAT definition.They have been linked to helping with everything from constipation to weightloss.

Many times curly hair wearers search endlessly for that product that will be the end all for the perfect curls. Who would have thought you could get such great definition from a tiny seed that can also help your fiber intake! Before shelling out major bucks on manufactured curl defining hair products try this recipe and see if it works for your curls.

How to make your own Flaxseed Gel:

TIP: You have to strain the mixture immediately as it will harden with the seeds still in it.

Use whole flaxseeds.

I love using Flaxseed gel to curl up the ends of my hair after two strand twisting them. I get nice springy curls at the end! This gel would also be good for puffs on shorter natural hair to make your curls and coils pop. And of course the illusive wash and go!
