Leave in conditioners

Leave in conditioners

A natural hair leave in conditioner is used after normally washing and conditioning your hair. The leave in conditioner is applied and should not be washed out like a traditional rinse out conditioner. The purpose of the leave in conditioner is  to add additional moisture after washing and seal and smooth the hair cuticle. Leave in conditioners normally are lightweight creams, sprays, or lotions ,as they are meant to be layered under styling products and avoid possible build up.

NOTE: The leave in conditioner does not replace a regular conditioner.

The proper sequence of the hair care routine that includes a leave in conditioner goes as follows:

  1. Pre poo treatment ( optional)
  2. Shampoo
  3. Rinse
  4. Conditioner
  5. Detangle
  6. Rinse
  7. Leave in Conditioner
  8. Styling Products
